Lauren Hall
Animateur (Worcester)
Lauren has recently gained a BA from the University of Chester studying the diverse nature of drama and theatre studies, from studio-based work to site specific performance, live art and installation.
Particular interests include; contemporary performance, performance art & applied practices. Lauren is interested in experimental theatre, and the use of “play” in performance, and as a practitioner is process and product driven. She seeks to create a platform for young artists to be unique collaborators who engage in the practice and theory of drama to create their own individual work.
She enjoys making work that it site specific or site responsive, and challenging conceptions on what performance is, looking beyond the boundaries of “conventional theatre” in order to see the possibility drama holds as an educational medium.
Lauren is also working as a part-time tutor, encouraging children to be enthusiastic about learning to increase their academic potential.
