Since graduating with a BA Degree in English and Drama from Queen Mary, University of London, Greg has continued to gain experience as an educationalist, workshop leader and experimental performance maker. Based in Manchester, Greg has worked with a variety of organisations who deliver contemporary/performing arts projects to young people across the North West, including Creative Partnerships, Off the Rails, The Sunni Muslim Association, Peshkar Productions and Contact Theatre.

Greg’s work often involves using image theatre techniques to reveal simple methods for creating personal performance work, which the participants can use themselves as a tool for empowerment and indeed learning.  He has toured his own original solo performance work with It’s Not As Bad As It Looks as part of the emerging artists project Live Art North West, as well as collaborating with several other contemporary performance companies in Manchester.

He is interested in making nonlinear work that might fall into the murky ‘grey area’ between theatre and live art and is keen on using technology to communicate contemporary performance narratives. Examples of his work can be found here.  He is currently undertaking an MA in Performance Works at Leeds Metropolitan University.
