
Liam Tombs
Assistant Producer & Animateur (Worcestershire)
Liam has been in his current post since April 2008. In his Assistant Producer role, he supports Rob Lines in the company’s funding and communications strategies and also works closely with Dan Morgan on community-based projects.
He is Animateur in our first primary cluster across Worcestershire, which was started as part of a pilot project in conjunction with Worcestershire Extended Services. Through this role he has explored how C&T’s practice and models of work can be applied in the primary school setting and has delivered a wide range of projects including Lip-Sync, The Dark Theatre and The Living Newspaper in both curriculum time and the extended day.
Liam read Drama and Performance Studies at the University of Worcester graduating in 2006, and first came into contact with C&T through his studies. He joined the company as an Associate Animateur in 2007 working with youth theatres and on other community projects until taking up his current post.
He is an active member of The Crescent Theatre Company in Birmingham where he has acted and directed since early 2010.
His previous experience also includes time as Creative Arts Worker at Sunfield, a residential school for young people with severe and complex learning needs and also time in cinema management.
