The Board is always on the look-out for new members who offer both skills and commitment to support the development of the Company. It welcomes applications at any time, and the information and documents available here can help you decide if joining the Board is right for you and right for C&T.

Why should I join the Board?

C&T isn’t like most arts organisations. The Company has evolved and expanded considerably over the last few years and the Board have been central to ensuring that this growth is sustainable and well-planned. We know Board members get real satisfaction from overseeing C&T’s continued evolution, and that future plans will make their role even more important.

Who are the Board?

You can read about current Board members here. The Board reflects the diversity of C&T’s interests, with representation of many sectors: schools, business, finance, the arts and the wider education sector. Through its work C&T is committed to access to the arts for all. We carry this commitment through every level of the organisation and therefore welcome board members from all sectors of the community. All Board members are committed to C&T’s high standards, particularly in relation to Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety and Child Protection.

What’s the commitment?

Board members are expected to attend

  • At least four out of six bi-monthly Board meetings held each year in Worcester.
  • The Annual General Meeting of the Company, which usually coincides with a regular Board meeting.
  • The annual Board Awayday, which gives time for the Board to consider more long-term issues affecting C&T.
  • Relevant working groups or sub-committees according to your particular area of expertise.
  • Drama workshops or performances on an occasional basis to see the Company’s work.
